FAQ

Paying

Payment is made via Paypal, cheque or bank transfer.
Paypal is convenient, really easy to use and you don’t even have to have a Paypal account. It is also the most secure way of paying since you don’t need to give your credit card details to Land of Mud & Glory.

Alternately you can pay with a cheque but for this I have to charge a £1.00 administration fee. Please make cheques payable to ‘Mr C Wheeler’ and send to:

Land of Mud & Glory, 65 North Lane, Buriton, GU31 5RS.

Please keep in mind cheques will need to clear before t-shirts can be forwarded.

If you would like to pay by bank transfer (BACS) please contact me so I can give you the bank details.

I’ve ordered. Now what?

Sit back and have a nice cup of tea.

If you are lucky and I have the exact shirt already made in your size and colour, it will be in the post within a day or two. If I have to print the t-shirt then it will be closer to a week. If I have order in the blanks or even, god forbid, make the screens it can be a bit longer. Rest assured though you will get your tee and it will be worth the wait.

UK Delivery

Delivery within the UK is £1.50 for one shirt, £3.00 for two or more shirts. If you want to order bulk please get in touch first.

All shirts will be sent by Royal Mail in poly bags that should fit though a standard sized letter box. These bags aren’t remotely sexy but they’re 100% biodegradable which is I suppose a different sort of sexy.

International Delivery

Land of Mud & Glory will send all shirts via Royal Mail who aim to deliver worldwide within 5 days (please don’t rely on that though!). All shipping is calculated at the checkout stage using the standard Royal Mail international postage rates.

If you want to order more than 10 shirts please contact Land of Mud and Glory.

Returns

Screen printing is a dark art and on occasion things go wrong. If there's something wrong with your shirt please, please don't suffer in silence, get in touch with me and I can either remake your shirt or refund you.

If you have to return a shirt, fold and pack it flat (as it was sent to you) and it will go as a large letter and therefore cheaper. If the fault is mine I'll refund you the postage.

If you want to return a shirt for any other reason, that's fine; just make sure it's in its original condition and I’ll refund you. Hey, it’s just a t-shirt after all.

Address returns to: Land of Mud & Glory, 65 North Lane, Buriton, GU31 5RS

Sizing

Wherever possible I am using organic vintage t-shirts because they are really soft and lovely to wear. The following colours are vintage:
White, red, navy blue, denim blue, charcoal, green, black.

Being vintage though means these shirts are pre-washed and pre-shrunk, therefore the size comes up smaller than normal. If your normal size is an M you might want to consider ordering L instead.See sizing charts for comparison.

Men's bamboo shirts are a little more fitted than the cotton shirts, nevertheless I would suggest going for your normal t-shirt size. The women's bamboo comes up approx 1 size too small so you should go up 1 size. Normally a M, try an L.

Bespoke

Want a shirt in a different colour? Sometimes this can produce fantastic results. You need to be aware of two things though:
It will take longer for you to receive the shirt as it will be made especially for you.
Also look closely at the design again. Most screen printing designs use the fabric itself as one of the colours. See what I mean? If you change the shirt colour you may change the design. Sometimes it works fantastically well, other times it’s a complete mess. The great thing about those that work is they are unique. I sell a lot of these ‘experimental’ shirts at events but if you want one made up especially, drop me a line.
